What fails in a phone
Almost every fault that comes in with a phone starts in one of six parts. Knowing which part is at fault makes the price easier to understand.
Screen
Cracked glass, lines, dark spots, or a display that does not respond to touch. Often the glass is intact but the panel underneath is damaged by the fall.

Battery
The phone drains in a few hours, shuts off with charge left, or is hot with no load. A swollen battery lifts the screen — do not charge such a phone.

Charging port
The phone charges only at a certain cable angle, or not at all. Before replacing the port we clean out pocket lint first — sometimes that is enough.

Camera
Blurry photos, a black image, or the camera app closes. After a drop it is usually the stabilisation mechanism that is damaged, not the lens.

Back glass
A cracked back often looks cosmetic, but moisture gets in through the cracks and shards can damage the camera and the wireless-charging coil.

Water damage and board
Corrosion on the board starts within hours. A phone may work for a day or two and then not turn on — so do not try to switch on or charge a wet phone.

Common phone faults
Different faults look alike from the outside: the phone will not charge or barely works. Below is what we usually find once it is open, and where the repair starts.
What we usually find
- Cracked cover glass with a damaged panel under it
- Green, pink or black bands — an OLED panel fault, replacing only the glass will not help
- The screen shows an image but ignores touches, or taps by itself
- A crack next to the camera cutout that spreads every day

- A worn battery — iPhone battery health below 80%
- A swollen battery: the phone sits unevenly, the screen is raised
- An app that keeps running in the background and heats the processor
- A charging port fault that stops the charge reaching the battery

- Dust and lint in the port — we clean it and the problem often goes away
- A loose or bent port contact from frequent charging
- A faulty cable or charger — we check this first
- A charging controller fault on the board

- Corrosion on the board and connectors — starts within hours
- A short circuit if the wet phone was put on charge
- A damaged screen, camera or speaker
- Salt or sugary liquid (sea, drinks) does more harm than clean water

Prices are “from”. We give the exact amount after diagnostics, once the phone is checked and the fault confirmed. We agree the price with you before starting work.

If you repair with us, the diagnostics fee is deducted from the final price. If you decide not to repair, you pay only for diagnostics and take the phone back.
Before you bring the phone
A few things worth doing before you come. They speed up the check and protect your data.
Why it matters
When we replace a screen, battery or port, the data stays on the phone. But if the fault involves the board or the phone got wet, we cannot always save everything — so a backup is the only guarantee.
What to do
- If the phone works, make a backup (iCloud, Google or on a computer)
- Know the screen lock code — without it we cannot test the camera, sound and other functions
- Remove the case and screen protector if they are not cracked
- If the phone got wet, do not turn it on or charge it
- Bring the original cable and charger if you suspect the phone is not at fault
When it is worth repairing
A screen, battery or port replacement usually pays off: for a few tens of euros the phone lasts several more years. More expensive work, such as board repair, is not always worth it — we tell you after diagnostics.

Phones fail in similar ways but differ in screen type, parts price and how expensive each part is to replace. Below are the price ranges by brand from our price list.
Apple iPhone
From iPhone 5 to the latest iPhone 16 and 17 series, SE models
Screen from €69, battery from €35. From iPhone X the screens are OLED, so replacement costs more than on older LCD models. When we replace a screen we transfer your original Face ID module.
Samsung Galaxy
S, A, M, Note, Z Flip and Z Fold series
Screen from €55, battery from €29, back glass from €35. For many S-series models an original screen is also available from €99.
Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco
Redmi Note, Redmi, Poco, Xiaomi and Mi series
The most affordable parts in our price list: screen from €49, battery from €29.
Huawei
P, Mate, Nova and Y series
Screen from €59, battery from €29. Phones without Google services are repaired like any other — the repair covers hardware only.
Google Pixel
From Pixel 2 XL to Pixel 10, Pro, Pro Fold and the a series
Screen from €89, battery from €55, back glass from €59. Pixel parts cost more than other Android phones, so we always agree the price before starting.
OnePlus, Oppo, Motorola, Nothing, Sony
OnePlus 7–13, Oppo A serija, Motorola Edge, Nothing Phone (1–3), Sony Xperia
Screen from €49 up to a few hundred euros depending on the model, battery from €29. You will find the exact price for a model in the price list and we confirm it after inspection.
What phone messages mean
A message on the screen shows the result, not the cause. Below are the cases we see most and what we find behind them.
- “Liquid detected in charging port” or “Moisture detected”
iPhone, Samsung
What we find: The phone senses moisture in the port and blocks charging. Often drying and cleaning the port is enough, but if liquid got deeper there is corrosion — and then charging only damages the board.
- “Important Battery Message” or “Unable to verify genuine battery”
iPhone
What we find: The phone cannot confirm the battery is original. This happens after a battery is replaced without Apple’s tools and is not a fault — the phone works, it just does not show battery health.
- “Face ID not working” after a drop or screen replacement
iPhone
What we find: The front sensor module or its cable is damaged. That is why, when we replace a screen, we transfer your original module instead of fitting a new one.
- “iPhone needs to cool down”
iPhone, Android
What we find: Most often a worn battery or a faulty charging controller. If the phone is hot with no load, do not charge it and bring it in.
- A green, pink or black band across the screen
OLED screens: iPhone, Samsung
What we find: The OLED panel is damaged. A software update will not help — the screen has to be replaced. The band usually spreads, so waiting does not pay off.
- “No SIM” or “No service”
iPhone, Android
What we find: We check the SIM tray and the card first. If they are fine, the cause is an antenna contact after a drop or a board fault.

Every phone is taken in the same way — no appointment, and no work we have not agreed on.

To Šeškinė or Lentvaris, no appointment. Know the screen lock code — without it we cannot test every function.
Diagnostics
We inspect the phone and find the cause. Diagnostics cost €12.90 and are deducted from the repair price.
We agree the price
We tell you what is broken and what it will cost. We start only with your agreement.
Repair and check
We replace the part and test the screen, camera, sound, charging and sensors before handing it back.
You collect it with a warranty
The repair comes with a written warranty of at least 3 months.
