As the summer season approaches, many people will go to the lakes or the sea. But not everyone comes home with their phones safe and dry...
What should you do if your phone falls into water?
1. Turn off the phone.
2. If possible, remove the battery from the phone.
3. Do not shake – Shaking your phone increases the chance of water getting deeper into your phone and damaging the internal chip.
4. Use a towel/napkin - drain and leave to dry, but do not place in the sun, because the sun's rays and their heat promote oxidation.
5. Leave for at least 24 hours and then try to assemble. Not guaranteed, but the probability increases. (Can't be assembled right away because the phone looks dry on the outside but still has water inside).
It is worth noting that phones with built-in batteries have a lower chance of turning on, but the chances are there.
People often make the mistake of drying their phone with a hair dryer. You can't do this because when you blow dry with a hair dryer, you blow water inside the phone and the water gets into the phone's chip.
If the phone falls into the water, it should be pulled out of the water as soon as possible, because the longer it is in the water, the lower the chances of saving it.
