1. Your right to return
Under Article 6.22810 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, a consumer buying at a distance (online) has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, notify us before the deadline by email or in person at our shop. No form or special document is needed — a free-form message is enough.
2. Return conditions
The returned item must meet the following conditions:
- ›Unused, or used only as much as needed to examine it, as you would in a shop.
- ›In its original packaging. An opened package is not an obstacle to returning, but the item itself must be undamaged.
- ›With all parts included: cable, case, documents and so on.
- ›Accompanied by the receipt or the order number.
3. How to return an item
There are two ways to return an item:
In person at our shop
Come to either EFIX location with the item and the receipt. We complete the return on the spot.
Šeškinė and Lentvaris — see opening hours
By post or parcel locker
Email us first so we can agree on the return address and instructions.
Return postage is paid by the buyer
We provide the return address by email once we receive your notice. We do not recommend sending anything without arranging it first, as it can cause confusion on receipt.
4. Refunds
Once we receive the item and check its condition, we refund within 14 calendar days. The refund goes back the same way you paid — to your card or bank account.
- ›The refund covers the price of the item. Delivery costs are not refunded, except in the case of a fault.
- ›If only part of an order is returned, we refund the amount proportional to that part.
- ›You receive payment confirmation by email or SMS.
5. Faulty goods
If an item turns out to be faulty or does not match its description, this is not an ordinary return. In that case the buyer protections of Article 6.338 of the Civil Code apply:
- ›To have the fault repaired free of charge.
- ›To have the goods replaced with conforming ones.
- ›To have the price reduced or the full amount refunded.
The right to raise a claim about non-conformity lasts 2 years from receiving the goods. For the first 6 months the fault is presumed to have existed from the outset, unless the seller proves otherwise.
We cover the postage for faulty goods. Contact us at info@efix.lt and we will look at each case individually.
6. Exceptions — when returns do not apply
Under Article 6.22811 of the Civil Code, the 14-day right to return does not apply to:
- ›Goods made to individual order or clearly personalised for the buyer.
- ›Goods that spoil quickly or have a short shelf life.
- ›Sealed goods that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons.
- ›Digital content whose supply began with the buyer’s consent before the deadline expired.
Legal basis. These rules follow the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania (Articles 6.22810, 6.22811, 6.338), the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania, and Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights.
